ABOUT EDDIE BRUCE

For ‍more ‍than ‍four ‍decades, ‍cabaret ‍artist ‍and ‍orchestra ‍leader ‍Eddie ‍Bruce ‍has ‍been ‍an ‍entertainment ‍industry ‍force ‍in ‍our ‍region ‍and ‍beyond. ‍

His ‍critically ‍acclaimed ‍salutes ‍to ‍Tony ‍Bennett, ‍Anthony ‍Newley, ‍Frank ‍Sinatra ‍and ‍The ‍Best ‍of ‍Broadway ‍have ‍sold ‍out ‍venues ‍of ‍every ‍size ‍and continue ‍to ‍delight ‍audiences ‍of ‍all ‍ages.

‍‍We ‍don’t ‍hear ‍the ‍words ‍“electrifying” ‍and ‍“mesmerizing” ‍too ‍much ‍anymore ‍as ‍applied ‍to ‍entertainers ‍and ‍the ‍world ‍of ‍entertainment. ‍As ‍applied ‍to ‍the ‍show ‍business ‍tradition—yesterday, ‍today ‍and ‍tomorrow—Eddie ‍Bruce ‍personifies ‍both.

ABOUT DEAN SCHNEIDER

For more than two decades, Dean Schneider has been one of the most sought after pianists, conductors, musical directors,  accompanists, orchestrators, and jazz soloists on the East coast, appearing with artists such as Bernadette Peters,  Liza Minnelli, Johnny Mathis, Anthony Newley, and Shirley Bassey.  For 20 years, he has been accompanist and musical director for Diahann Carroll,  has also frequently conducted for Michael Feinstein, and for some 15 years, served as Eddie Bruce's musical director.

EDDIE BRUCE AND DEAN SCHNEIDER:   A CELEBRATION OF MICHEL LEGRAND  AND JOHNNY MERCER

Eddie Bruce and Dean Schneider are among the very few vocal and instrumental artists anywhere who can do interpretive, passionate justice to the legendary songs written by two giants of American music.  In this delightful and heartfelt celebration of Michel Legrand and Johnny Mercer, Eddie and Dean perform some of the composer's most fondly-remembered songs, and share a bit of history about the men behind the music.

Jessica Smith is a young Havertown singer who loves theater and plans to pursue her singing interests.  At 13 years old she impressed the crowd with her powerful voice at Summer Fun Jam in Merwood Park.
