ABOUT ABOUT

CubiZm is Heidi Wolfson, Art Cohen, Steve Lessick and Neal Phillips. CubiZm’s original folk/rock music spans a wide range from shimmering atmospheres to driving grooves to melodic harmonies to abstract spoken word  pieces. Acoustic and electric guitars, drums and vocal harmonies blend together to showcase the freshness and originality of the writing. Heidi Wolfson's songs are thought-provoking and literate, and she delivers them with a singular intensity. Guitarist Art Cohen, better known in international space-music circles, adds texture, edge and hang-on-to-your-seat leads. Steve Lessick's tasteful drumming and beautiful vocal harmonies smooth out the sound with polish. Neal Phillips adds extraordinary acoustic guitar work and driving bass. From a whisper to a roar, the music of CubiZm is always compelling.  CubiZm has performed at The Philadelphia Folk Festival and play at venues throughout the Philadelphia region.  They recently released their fourth CD, Different Kind of Folk.

Singer songwriter Kathy Quinn will open.  Kathy Quinn is a Delaware County native and a member of the Philadelphia Area Songwriters' Alliance. She is pleased to return to the Kelly Center stage, having previously appeared in 2020 (just days before the pandemic) to celebrate Women's History Month. Her songs are influenced by American roots and folk music, crafted in a range of styles, embracing a blend of humor, heartache, and hope. She is delighted to perform with the very talented Steve Lessick, who adds percussion, harmonica, and harmony to the mix. She can be found on YouTube @kathyquinn1617.

For all events, we are focusing on SAFETY.  We have improved air filtration inside the Kelly Center for the safety of Customers, Staff and Performers.  We have upgraded to Hospital Grade HEPA air filtration, Negative Air Ion filters and Apple Catechin filters with antiviral and antibacterial properties.  These upgrades trap and deactivate microscopic bacteria and viruses, and can diminish or prevent the spread of diseases. Our HVAC draws in fresh air from outside, completely turning the inside air over every 5 minutes. We open the windows when appropriate to improve fresh air flow.
