The Deep Roots Trio is an exciting new Roots/Americana band featuring three of the area's best musicians and vocalists. They are Wanamaker Lewis, Bob Tangrea and Ron Greenstein. Under the big tent of American music, their repertoire includes, Original Songs, Electric and Acoustic blues, Bluegrass, Folk, and Jazz.

Advance Discount Tickets: Adults $10.  At the Door: Adults $15.  Advance Discount sales close 5 pm day of show.

BYOB is welcome an additional  $5 donation per drinker.   Must be 21 to consume alcohol. Disposable cups provided.

Doors open at 7:00 pm.  7:30 show.  

Wanamaker Lewis is a very versatile and accomplished guitarist and banjo player. He was founding member of the Lewis Brothers Bluegrass Band and The Wanamaker Lewis Blues Band. On banjo, he was also a member of the John Herald Band. While with Herald he played many national venues and festivals, including Carnegie Hall with John Herald and Bob Tangrea. He has shared the stage with Pete Seeger, Joan Baez, Richie Havens and many more. Wanamaker also has toured with his band Rootology and played the Philadelphia Folk Festival and Merlefest.
Bob Tangrea is an accomplished vocalist, guitarist, mandolin, and fiddle player. He’s had a very diversified musical career. From his musical start, playing folk and bluegrass with his brother Joe in The Tanner Brothers, to playing with Doc Watson and John Herald, to forming the band Valentine with Frank Stallone and performing on numerous TV shows, including "Midnight Special" and “Don Kirshner’s Rock Concert to appearing as a streetcorner singer in the Academy Award winning film, Rocky. Most recently Bob toured with David Bromberg, The Angel Band and Linda Rondstadt.
Ron Greenstein began his career playing bass for the Tanner Brothers, Skookil Express, Borderline, and many others. He has toured Europe and the US with the Lewis Brothers, and has played with Doc Watson, folk icon Tom Paxton, and is a current member of The Chad Mitchell Trio.  All together this versatile band creates very exciting, and satisfying Americana/Roots music.

For all events, we are focusing on SAFETY.  We have improved air filtration inside the Kelly Center for the safety of Customers, Staff and Performers.  We have upgraded to Hospital Grade HEPA air filtration, Negative Air Ion filters and Apple Catechin filters with antiviral and antibacterial properties.  These upgrades trap and deactivate microscopic bacteria and viruses, and can diminish or prevent the spread of diseases. Our HVAC draws in fresh air from outside, completely turning the inside air over every 5 minutes. We open the windows when appropriate to improve fresh air flow.
