About the Telethon... Delco Gives is a 24-hour community giving initiative designed to unite Delco residents, businesses and organizations in a collective effort to support Delaware County's nonprofit sector.  The official Delco Gives Day happens on May 8-9, 2024, and will be a county-wide celebration of generosity, unity and shared purpose.  This inaugural Delco Gives Day was created by the Foundation for Delaware County and is modeled after successful County campaigns in other Pennsylvania counties and throughout the country.

Why is theTelethon happening on May 5th?    The Foundation for Delaware County will be hosting special Delco Gives Day events on May 8-9 and we didn’t want to take away from that…besides, what better day than CINCO De MAYO to have a fun MUSIC celebration for Delco Gives?.  We also believe the Delco Gives Telethon on May 5th will draw more public & media attention for the Official Delco Gives Day May 8-9, which benefits all Delaware County non-profits.

For all events, we are focusing on SAFETY.  We have improved air filtration inside the Kelly Center for the safety of Customers, Staff and Performers.  We have upgraded to Hospital Grade HEPA air filtration, Negative Air Ion filters and Apple Catechin filters with antiviral and antibacterial properties.  These upgrades trap and deactivate microscopic bacteria and viruses, and can diminish or prevent the spread of diseases. Our HVAC draws in fresh air from outside, completely turning the inside air over every 5 minutes. We open the windows when appropriate to improve fresh air flow.
