Irish Night - Halfway to St. Patrick's Day
Dylan McGuire, Kristen Conrad, DK Duo + Two re-open the Kelly Center stage with an Irish flair. St. Patrick's Day is only 6 months away! Music from Contemporary Irish performers like Pogues/Flogging Molly as well as pop Irish favorites like U2, Cranberries, Van Morrison. (More below)
To celebrate, Kelly Music for Life will provide complimentary wine and beer. Guinness, Allagash, Dogfish Head, Coors Light, White Claw Seltzer plus red and white wine. BYOB is also welcome for an additional $5 donation. The New Avenue Café will be open for healthy snacks, drinks and coffee purchases. Must be 21 to consume alcohol.
Masks required to enter and removed only while seated. Limited tickets. 50% capacity to allow proper distancing. All drinks will be served in disposable cups.
Doors open at 7:00 pm. 7:30 show.
$25 per person at the door. When purchasing tickets, please indicate seating preference.

DK Duo is a new musical partnership from two Philadelphia-area veteran musicians—Dylan McGuire (vocals, guitar) and Kristen Conrad (vocals, keyboards, flute, pennywhistle, percussion). Formed in early 2020, they are excited to kick off the fall 2020 season at Kelly Center playing a night of Irish Music, both traditional and modern, to celebrate six months to St. Patrick’s Day.
Both musicians have been playing professional gigs for many years and are well-known and respected in the Philadelphia and Delaware County music scenes. They enjoy bringing their love of Irish music to their live shows, playing songs by The Pogues, The Dubliners, Flogging Molly, The Cranberries, U2, and more, as well as original music.
Kristen is currently also a member of the alternative rock tribute band Almost There, which plays bars and festivals throughout the region (and were slated to play the 2020 Havertown Spring Music Festival). In addition, Kristen is a classically-trained singer and is currently the soprano section leader both for the ensemble Vox Ama Deus and the senior choir at St. Luke church in Devon.
A Havertown resident, Dylan is a fixture of the local bars and can be seen playing solo at many establishments such as The Crossbar, McShea’s, Manoa Tavern and others. His band The Dylan McGuire Band has played the Havertown Irish Festival since its first year and brings a high-energy mix of Irish and classic rock. He is also an established songwriter and has released 3 CDs of original material which has been played worldwide on terrestrial and internet radio and has even been featured during Philadelphia Phillies broadcasts.
