Maxie Mandel is a 15-year-old singer-songwriter from Bryn Mawr, PA who lets her life flow through her music. An emotional, pure powerhouse vocalist, she plays piano and guitar to write and arrange contemporary songs that transcend any one particular genre. Maxie sounds like Maxie in her natural element.  Maxie was featured in Main Line Today magazine’s “Next Gen: 15 Local Leaders Under the Age of 30” for her musical community service work. She is the founder of Maxie’s Hot Chocolate House, an annual Main Line teen concert event that benefits LiveConnections at World Café Live. One of her songs written for Brandon’s Voice advocates for autism awareness, and another is slated to benefit teen cancer. Lately, she has been performing her originals to benefit local organizations with missions that resonate with her lyrics.  Maxie was recognized as a top five Pop finalist in Philly’s 2019 PHL LIVE Center Stage Competition, and won the 2018 Meridee Winters Music School Teen Song Contest. She performs at open mics and venues including The Bryn Mawr Twilight Concert Series, South West Wayne Porchfest, Philadelphia Area Songwriters Alliance and Philadelphia Folksong Society.  Follow @maxie.mandel and Maxie Mandel on YouTube.

The McDade-Cara School of Irish Dance was established in Havertown in 1962 and continues to thrive today. Our school is dedicated to preserving and enhancing the rich tradition of Irish step and figure dancing. We also firmly believe that instruction in step dancing develops the overall physical abilities of our children and strengthens their self-esteem as they master the progression of dance steps. Above all, it is our hope to provide an atmosphere where girls and boys can have fun and build relationships that will last a lifetime.

Shannon Daly has been singing since she could talk. Shannon is 14 and a 8th grader at Sacred Heart School in Havertown. In addition to performing Shannon is a competitive champion Irish dancer that dances with the McDade Cara School of Irish dance.  She also runs track, plays soccer and plays Gaelic football and camogie.  Shannon has been performing in all her grade school shows. In 6th grade she was Sandy in Grease. In 7th grade she was a silly girl with a featured encore in Beauty and the beast. This year is delighted to play Ariel in Footloose.  She was granted a part in Broadway in Berwyn this March at the Footlighters theatre in Berwyn.  Shannon has been honored to be asked several times to perform the American and Irish national (Amhrán na bhFiann) anthems at local Irish events. Most recently at the Delaware Valley Irish Hall of fame and at St. Joe's University for a game between the University of Ulster vs. Philadelphia All Stars.

Mae Grayson Weaver has been studying voice and theater since the second grade. She is now a 7th grader at Haverford Middle School. She has an interest in musical theater, and amongst other shows has performed in Media Theatre's mainstage runs of The Wizard of Oz, Saturday Night Fever, and Matilda the Musical. Mae started playing ukulele 2 years ago and now writes and performs her own pieces. She also plays the piano, oboe, flute, and guitar. In her free time she studies in a conservatory-style musical theater program at The Media Theatre, takes piano and dance lessons, and is a vocal student with Ms. Leigh Munro.
