Surrey Services for Seniors supports the Kelly Center
New day starting in October.
Havertown Drum Circle. FREE. 3rd Wednesday of every month in 2024. 7pm to 9pm.
Join Drum Circle Facilitator, Tim Simmons, for an evening of rhythm and fun! Drumming together unites our heartbeats and our breathing, builds community, and inspires deep interpersonal connections. Plus, it's a blast to make some noise with your friends!
All experience levels will be honored. Tim will be providing some drums to use, but also bring your own if you have one. Anything counts as a drum - pots and pans, wooden spoons, even buckets!
Tim Simmons is a musician, educator, writer, and artist who lives in Havertown. He is the music teacher at DV Friends in Paoli, PA, and is also the author of Serafine Finds a Song, a storybook and curriculum guide that inspires readers of all ages to find their own song through musical improvisation. You can find out more information at www.timothysimmons.net.
The event is FREE to attend or participate. Donations to support the Kelly Center are appreciated.
Doors open at 6:30pm.
