About the Main Stage Performers:

REILLY’S DAUGHTER featuring TOMMY CONWELL https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100082736682625    Classic Irish tunes and Rock and Roll.  Tommy Conwell is best known as the frontman for the Philadelphia-based band Tommy Conwell and the Young Rumblers. The band had a #1 US mainstream rock hit in 1988 with "I'm Not Your Man", which also peaked at 74 on the Billboard Hot 100. In addition to occasional reunion shows with the Young Rumblers, Tommy Conwell performs with the Philadelphia Irish Rock band, Reilly’s Daughter.

TAN & SOBER GENTLEMEN Making their Philadelphia area debut at the Havertown Irish Festival, Tan and Sober Gentlemen is an Irish-American hillbilly band from North Carolina.  Born and raised in North Carolina, The Tan and Sober Gentlemen blend hillbilly roots with traditional Irish music to create a raucous ruckus that won’t be forgotten anytime soon. “We take our old songs and make ‘em fast, fun, and sweaty. No matter the venue or the crowd, we’ll leave them drinking and dancing.” The Bristol Herald Courier describes them this way, "If hurricanes could play music, they’d sound something like Tan and Sober Gentlemen. They make music that’s a mix of moonshine and rocket fuel.” The band aims to explore the Irish roots of the Carolinas' traditional music (bluegrass, oldtime, etc.), and to play it with as much intensity as possible. Their super high energy live shows have gained them local and regional fame, and they have toured up and down the East Coast, across the South, and far afield as Ireland.  They are touring 2023 after the release of their new album, "Regressive Folk Music," in 2022. Their debut album, "Veracity," was named by Shite'n'Onions as one of the six best Celtic punk albums of 2019 and 2020. Tan and Sober Gentlemen has shared the stage with Asleep at the Wheel, Del McCoury, Steve Earle, Billy Strings, Sarah Shook, JD McPherson, and many more. You may check them out at www.tanandsober.com or on YouTube https://youtu.be/ymqYI0WkkNI  Instagram instagram.com/tanandsober  Facebook facebook.com/tanandsober  or on Spotify https://open.spotify.com/track/6TXqS7vshlJJCC4JGYJy2h?si=032c903e9fed44cf

JAMISON http://www.jamisoncr.com/  https://www.facebook.com/jamisoncelticrock   Jamison is a high-energy six-piece band that can take traditional Irish tunes and turn them upside down, blending in rock, reggae, modern pop, and hip-hop along the way. Crowds can’t help but get to their feet as Jamison takes Irish music to the next level with original songs and eccentric versions of covers or festival favorites.  Since 2003, Jamison has been touring the East Coast’s Irish/Celtic festival circuit while maintaining an ever-growing following surrounding Philadelphia and the Jersey Shore. Jamison is Frank Daly, John O’Callaghan, Sean Hicks, Alice Marie, Ant Lusi, AJ Marx

JOHN BYRNE BAND https://www.johnbyrneband.com/  https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100063619628281  The John Byrne Band is led by Dublin native and Philadelphia-based John Byrne. Their debut album, After the Wake, was released to critical acclaim on both sides of the Atlantic in 2011. With influences ranging from Tom Waits to Planxty, John's songwriting honors and expands upon the musical and lyrical traditions of his native and adopted homes. John has toured with or opened up for acts as diverse as The Hothouse Flowers, Ian Gillan (of Deep Purple), Gaelic Storm, Murder by Death, Finbar Furey, Luka Bloom, The Saw Doctors, The Solas, Sharon Shannon, The Young Dubliners and The Greencards. Both as a solo/acoustic act, and a full 6-piece band, John logs in over 150 shows per year, building a loyal and devoted following.  The John Byrne Band is John Byrne, Andy Keenan, Maura Dwyer, Mike Taylor, Freddy Berman and Vince Tampio.
