Singer-songwriter, J.P. Bohannon was a founding member of the Irish folk band, Irish Myst, and has been playing in the area for over three decades. After leaving Irish Mist, he began his solo career and has been a mainstay at McShea’s Tavern in Narberth (every other Saturday afternoon) and at the Cosmic Cafe on Boathouse Row. J.P. cites his main influences as David Falcone—a local guitar finger-stylist — and Townes Van Zandt.

Beside his music, J.P. Bohannon’s poetry and fiction have also appeared in journals and magazines throughout the U.S., the U.K. and Ireland. His collection of poetry, The Barmaids of Tir na Nog, was published by Harrowood Books.
